QA and Production Specialist

We are looking for a disciplined and dedicated individual with a “roll up your sleeves” mentality to join our Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a strong team and a fast-growing business. You will be responsible for the quality of our products and follow up on quality issues and customer complaints and have close relationships with our R&D team, sales team and operations team. You will be managing all quality aspects for our US production of liquors and support with troubleshooting production issues with our manufacturing partner.
What will you do?
Quality Assurance
You ensure a continuous focus on the production of high quality products, following up on customer complaints with corrective and preventive actions, as well as entering and monitoring QC data and driving corrective actions to deviations.
Complaint Handling
You are a key point of contact for the Creamy Creation Sales team for customer complaints. You lead the investigation, draft a complaint investigation report, and review and propose your conclusion to the Quality Director
Supplier Management
You lead supplier management, including regular audits of our suppliers, haulers and manufacturing partner. You are responsible for keeping an up to date supplier documentation pack for all our active raw materials. You support in auditing new suppliers when needed.
Second line troubleshooting
As a production specialist, you are involved in daily supporting processes to ensure that the production department functions optimally. As part of the operations team you participate in the Daily Control meeting and are back up for the Director Operations in their absence. You are the linking pin from the production plant to the QA & R&D departments to investigate deviations and coordinate further actions to Planning and Customer Service.
First Time Right
You investigate the root cause of recurring problems on product quality issues and in response create suggested improvements. You follow up on deviations report from the plant. You record issues and report the monthly First Time Right score.
Process Improvements
With input from R&D and Sales you are the lead for the commercialization of new products, including scale up, and handover to production for initial production. You ensure that Raw Material Authorization packages for our manufacturing partner are complete and accurate and review SOP’s for completeness. You analyze the first 3 batches of a new Product and prepare handover documents including sign-off.
